What is Public Performance Reporting?
CCAF uses the term public performance reporting to refer to the existing formal public performance reporting mechanisms that governments use to communicate performance with the legislatures, media and the public in accordance with agreed guidelines. It is the formal response to a desire or need to report performance to those who have a legitimate interest in knowing, understanding and assessing performance, and then acting on this information[1]. Performance reports assist parliamentarians in both assessment and planning procedures on an annual basis.
