Improved Public Performance Reporting in Western Canada: Past, Present, and Future

Vancouver, September 10-11, 2008

CCAF has organized a Symposium on Public Performance Reporting in Western Canada entitled “Improved Public Performance Reporting in Western Canada: Past, Present, and Future.” With the goal of visioning how to bring performance reporting more fully into today’s digital age, the Symposium is a major initiative for Western Canadian legislative auditors (auditor generals), chairs of legislative oversight committees, central agency senior executives, and other senior public performance reporting experts.

The symposium’s objectives are to explore cutting-edge developments — including citizen engagement and technology-enabled e-reporting — that will enable the evolution of public performance reporting in Western Canada; proposing possible forward-looking solutions that would take public performance reporting to the next level; and sharing tried and true best practices.
